About Us
CAMPS project

In the middle 80's, based on our worldwide patents, we shifted our focus on projects exclusively developing music related software for the professional use.

In 1994, our CAMPS (Computer Assisted Music Processing System) made a number of the impossibles possible for the first time including fully automated features of Chord definitions as well as Chord Progression composing based on an analysis of a given Melody, Melody line composing guided by a mouse-drawn contour, detection of unwanted Dissonant Interval in multiple parts and sophisticated Voicing arrangement which are inevitably required in modern music production.

Reviewed by a number of major magazines, papers and websites in countries including U.S., Canada, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Norway, Greece, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea. CAMPS customers span across various fields including musicians, composers, arrangers, recording engineers, schools, film productions, TV networks among others.

iGotGroove project

iGotGroove is another one-of-a-kind software program we introduced that instantly transforms you into an improvisational musician.

It plays back intelligently composed melody notes synchronously and accordingly as just clapping hands before your PC, Mac, Unix or PDA. It helps children learn music as a form of expression by instantly allowing them to create and hear their own. No additional device is required.

é¶
Our Footsteps

We have been developing software programs across various OS platforms including Macintosh, Unix, Windows and MS-DOS for more than two decades. Developed a number of innovative software programs and mutimedia contents for companies including major telecommunication firms, medical institutions, TV networks and musical instrument manufacturers around the globe.

Beginning
A group of musicians, artists and engineers formed Microworks Corporation originally in Cambridge, MA, in 1989 seeking for realistic aids to arts by software program.

Artificial Intelligence
Since the introduction of CAMPS in 1994 developed based on our research using artificial intelligence for music composing, a number of artists and professors enjoyed the fruits of it including Herbie Hancock, Jay Rose, Thomas Dolby and Todd Rundgren.

In Hollywood
Several producers and filmscoring musicians including Michael Backes and Richard Cremont found our technologies useful in their projects for most major Hollywood studios such as Congo, Fly 2, Disclosure, Jurassic Park 2, Terminator 3, i.g. and for workshop at American Film Institute.

In Multimedia
Due to our background, we have led in the field of interactive website developing in addition to designing and creating CG, 3D Animation, Video and Music clips.
